Close call: Andre Onana’s car hit at high speed

Andre Onana, the goalkeeper owned by English club Manchester United and currently on loan at Turkish side Trabzonspor, has been involved in a road accident and taken to hospital.

According to TodayPress TV, the incident was reported by Daily Express.

The accident occurred as Onana was returning home after Trabzonspor’s 2–0 victory over Hearts in the second round of the UEFA Conference League league phase. The goalkeeper had kept a clean sheet during the match before becoming involved in the road accident.

According to reports, another car crashed into the rear of the vehicle driven by Onana at high speed. His family was also in the car at the time. The force of the impact pushed Onana’s vehicle into another car travelling ahead.

Emergency medical and rescue services were immediately called to the scene. Onana was taken to hospital for examination but was discharged after being assessed by doctors.
