Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, and other cities overnight.

According to TodayPress TV, reports claim that Russia used Iskander-M, S-400, Zircon and Oniks missiles, as well as 210 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), during the attack.

According to the reports, Ukraine’s air defence forces intercepted 181 drones.

The strikes reportedly targeted energy and transport facilities linked to the Ukrainian military’s defensive capabilities, as well as military installations and warehouses.

Preliminary reports indicate that one person was killed and dozens were injured in Kyiv. Casualties have also been reported in other cities.

The attack came just hours after US President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff met Russian President Vladimir Putin in St Petersburg.
