Scaloni agrees to extend Argentina contract until 2030
Argentina head coach Lionel Scaloni has agreed to the Argentine Football Association’s (AFA) proposal to extend his contract until 2030.

The two parties are expected to finalize the remaining details and sign a new agreement soon.
Scaloni has led Argentina to several major achievements, including winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. However, La Albiceleste lost to Spain in the final of the 2026 World Cup.
