The White House has announced that Russia and Ukraine have reached an agreement on a ceasefire in the city of Oleshky, in Ukraine’s Kherson region.

According to TodayPress TV, the ceasefire will take effect on October 29.

The agreement was reached to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid and the evacuation of civilians through a designated corridor.

The White House also said that US First Lady Melania Trump had engaged an independent American media organization to accompany and document the activities of Russian and Ukrainian teams on the ground throughout the process.

It should be recalled that a drone attack on Moscow has caused long queues at Sheremetyevo Airport, where people are being evacuated.
