Zelensky reveals new targets in Russia – Siberia also in range

Ukraine’s strike capabilities now extend to Russian territories stretching from the Yamal Peninsula to Western Siberia.

According to TodayPress TV, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made the statement following a report on the results of long-range strikes carried out in September and October.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine is working to extend the reach of its drones and missiles to even more distant areas of Russia.

He said the main targets for the next strikes had already been identified. To this end, the capabilities of the Security Service of Ukraine’s (SBU) Alfa Special Operations Centre, intelligence agencies and other defence units will be expanded.

The Ukrainian leader stressed that his country's long-range strike capabilities are now among the guarantees of its independence and should become a long-term security guarantee even after the war.

Zelensky also said that he had held talks with manufacturers of the relevant weapons today.
