Trump’s Iran plan revealed: Strike or blockade?

US President Donald Trump discussed economic pressure and a potential blockade against Iran, rather than military strikes, during a meeting with Central Command (CENTCOM) chief Brad Cooper and several members of his administration.

According to TodayPress TV, the information was reported by Barak Ravid, a correspondent for Axios.

According to the journalist, the meeting, attended by more than 20 people, focused primarily on increasing economic pressure on Iran and implementing blockade measures.

“According to information I received from several US officials, yesterday’s meeting was not about strikes against Iran. The blockade and economic pressure were discussed in detail,” Ravid said.

Nevertheless, the journalist emphasised that the possibility of US military strikes against Iran immediately after the midterm elections in the United States cannot be ruled out.
