Israeli military on alert: Awaiting order to strike Iran

Israel’s defence establishment has been placed on the highest level of combat readiness amid concerns over the possibility of a surprise Iranian attack.

According to TodayPress TV, the Israeli news outlet Walla reported this.

“US and Israeli intelligence agencies fear that Tehran could stage a large-scale military provocation capable of directly influencing the course of elections in the United States and the political landscape.

In such a scenario, the White House would face a difficult choice: launch a pre-emptive strike to eliminate the threat or refrain from military intervention,” the report said.
