Is Russia strengthening its position in Armenia? – 2 new ‘Russian Houses’ to open

Two new partner “Russian Houses” will begin operating in Armenia’s regions.

TodayPress TV reports that Rossotrudnichestvo is expanding its partner “Russian Houses” programme across the CIS for the first time.

Two new centres will open in the Armenian cities of Artashat and Ashtarak.

Today, Rossotrudnichestvo head Igor Chaika signed agreements on the opening of 11 new partner “Russian Houses”. Previously, the network comprised 25 partner centres operating in 22 countries.

Asked about the current state of relations between the two countries, Chaika said:

“Relations are normal, as in a big family – anything can happen.”
