Israeli military chief opposes Netanyahu over Iran strike plans
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to launch a military strike against Iran ahead of Tuesday’s elections. However, the plan has reportedly faced opposition from the country’s military leadership.
According to TodayPress TV, Israel’s Channel 13 television network reported the development.
According to the report, Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has opposed Netanyahu’s plan.
Zamir has demanded the submission of documents officially signed by the prime minister’s office that justify the need for a new attack.
The Israeli government has not yet issued an official statement regarding these allegations.
