Following the United States’ 20-year military presence in Afghanistan and the Taliban’s return to power in 2021, economic cooperation and trade routes have come to the forefront of the country’s foreign relations.
According to TodayPress TV, China has sent a special freight train from Shandong Province to the Afghan city of Hairatan.
The train transports Chinese goods to Afghanistan via Central Asia.
After 20 years of US war in Afghanistan, China is now seeking to strengthen its position through trade and logistics.
