“People no longer trust Europe” — Merz
Germany and other European countries are facing serious challenges.
According to TodayPress TV, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz made the remarks while addressing a convention of the Christian Social Union (CSU) in Bavaria.
“Let’s call things by their proper names. Many people no longer trust this European policy or the European Union,” he stressed.
According to the chancellor, public trust must be restored. To achieve this, he said, the focus should be on solving problems rather than describing them at length.
