Yemen’s Houthi rebels, part of the Ansar Allah movement, have carried out strikes against Saudi Aramco facilities, an oil pipeline, several airports and military bases in Saudi Arabia.

According to TodayPress TV, the movement’s military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, announced the attacks.

“The armed forces (the Houthis’ armed units — ed.) carried out seven military operations using ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles,” Saree said.

According to him, the targets included Saudi Aramco facilities in Yanbu, an oil refinery in Rabigh, crude oil pumping stations and the East-West oil pipeline.

In addition, the rebel spokesperson claimed that strikes had been carried out against King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Najran Airport and an airbase in Khamis Mushait.

Saree added that the attack on the airport in Dammam had resulted in the suspension of air traffic.
