British consulate to close in Israel, representatives to be ‘expelled’
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar has announced that the British consulate in Jerusalem will be closed.
TodayPress TV reports, citing foreign media, that Sa’ar said British representatives would be removed from the International Support Centre for Gaza in Kiryat Gat.
In addition, 12 selected British representatives will be denied entry to Israel.
“Those who act against Israel will face Israeli countermeasures. They will lose their influence and importance in the region. Measures directed against Israel will not go unanswered,” Sa’ar said.
