Armenia files a complaint against Russia
Armenia has appealed to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) over restrictions imposed by Russia on Armenian goods.
TodayPress TV reports that Armenian Deputy Minister of Economy Tigran Gasparyan made the statement.
According to him, Armenia hopes that the restrictions imposed by Russia will be lifted through the mechanisms available within the EAEU framework.
Gasparyan noted that the restrictions run counter to the EAEU’s treaties and principles. He said Armenia is seeking to use the organisation’s existing mechanisms to remove the obstacles.
According to the report, Russia began gradually restricting imports of certain Armenian products through Rosselkhoznadzor in May 2026.
