A technical malfunction in the air traffic control system in the United Kingdom has caused serious disruption to the country’s air transport.

TodayPress TV reports that The Guardian newspaper provided information about the incident.

More than 1,900 flights have been cancelled over two days due to the malfunction.

It is reported that the technical problem in the National Air Traffic Services system has now been resolved. However, the disruption caused by the malfunction has resulted in flight chaos continuing for a second day.

In addition, numerous flights have been delayed. As a result, tens of thousands of passengers have had to wait for long periods at airports and have faced significant delays to their journeys.

Experts believe that despite the system malfunction being resolved, it may take some time for flight schedules to fully return to normal.
