New era at London club: Boehly steps down, ambitions laid out!

Chelsea have issued an official statement following changes in the club’s leadership.

“Yesterday marked an important milestone and the beginning of a new chapter in Chelsea’s history. We thank the partners we are saying goodbye to and express our gratitude for their contributions to the club. We are moving forward with a shared purpose, a clear direction and confidence in the future. Our ambitions are clear: to compete at the highest level, win major trophies and achieve sustained success.

“Chelsea supporters are the heart of this club and have been its true custodians for more than 120 years. While the responsibility of owning the club rests with us, it will always remain your club. We are committed to listening to you and to building a Chelsea you can be proud of, both on and off the pitch.

“Success on the pitch will always be our top priority. This means competing for titles in the Premier League and other major competitions, while also strengthening the club’s commercial potential to enable continued investment in the team. We will also focus on the club’s future infrastructure, making investments designed for future generations and seeking the right long-term solutions.

“Our ambitions for what Chelsea can achieve are high, and at the same time, we understand the responsibility that comes with leading this great club. We will continue to work together to move Chelsea forward,” the Blues said in their official statement.

It should be recalled that a day earlier, American businessman Todd Boehly resigned as chairman of Chelsea’s Board of Directors.
