Earthquake strikes Armenia
An earthquake has occurred in Armenia.
TodayPress TV reports that the information was provided by the Rescue Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the report, the tremors were recorded at 12:17 p.m. local time, 3 kilometres southeast of the village of Shoghakat. The earthquake had a magnitude of 2.8.
The intensity of the tremors at the epicentre was 3–4 points.
The tremors were felt in the villages of Shoghakat, Artanish, Drakhtik and Chil in Gegharkunik Province.
No reports of damage or injuries have been received.
