Russian connection at Trump’s son’s wedding: Why did the US back away from the investigation?
US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has said that the United States does not plan to investigate claims that Russian businessman Umar Kremlev financed part of Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding ceremony.
TodayPress TV reports, citing ABC News, that Blanche said he currently sees no basis for an investigation and has no information indicating that any violation of the law occurred.
It should be noted that earlier reports claimed that businessman Umar Kremlev, who has been described as being close to the Kremlin, covered part of the expenses for the wedding of Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson, which was held in the Bahamas.
