Saudi Arabia’s missiles are running low: Houthis prepare to strike

Saudi Arabia is facing dwindling stocks of air defence systems amid missile and drone attacks launched from Yemen.

TodayPress TV reports, citing the Associated Press, that Riyadh has turned to France, the United Kingdom, Pakistan and Egypt for air defence systems and support.

Although the United States is Saudi Arabia’s main ally and arms supplier, Washington’s stocks of interceptors for missile defence systems are also reportedly declining amid its six-month war with Iran.

According to experts, intercepting a single ballistic missile may require at least three interceptors, and even then, there is no guarantee that the missile will be destroyed.
