The Likud party, led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has accused Arab political forces of committing widespread violations during parliamentary elections.

According to TodayPress TV, the party has appealed to the police and Israel’s domestic security service, Shin Bet (Shabak), demanding an investigation into the elections for the 26th Knesset.

“The elections in Israel have been stolen by Arab parties that support the destruction of the Jewish state. Serious crimes were committed to achieve this, including vote-buying, threats, violence, fraud and the use of prohibited computer programs to attract voters,” Likud said in a statement.

The party announced that it would submit hundreds of witness statements and pieces of evidence concerning alleged violations at polling stations in Arab communities to the police, Shin Bet and the Central Elections Committee.

Likud also claimed to possess information about thousands of envelopes containing money and ballots for the Ra’am party.

In addition, the party said discrepancies had been identified between the number of ballot envelopes and the number of voters who participated in the election. It also pointed to suspicions that some individuals had voted more than once.

The statement further alleged that Arab parties had used prohibited software to increase voter turnout.

It should be noted that the allegations have not yet been independently verified.
