“We need to get out of Iran with our dignity intact, or we’ll be humiliated” – Vance pleads with Trump
US Vice President JD Vance has reportedly urged President Donald Trump to reach an agreement with Iran and bring the war to an end.
According to foreign media reports cited by TodayPress TV, Vance believes the war with Iran is inflicting serious economic and political damage on the United States and could negatively affect the Republican Party’s performance in the midterm elections
He has also sharply criticised Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying that he is “wrong about everything”.
Although Donald Trump is aware of rising fuel prices and the economic burden the war is placing on voters, he is still considering the option of launching further military strikes against Iran.
The report notes that Vance, who is considering running in the 2028 presidential election, may seek to adopt a different and more independent stance from Trump on Iran policy.
