Armenia and Turkey thaw relations – Border could open at any moment
Armenia and Turkey have begun formalising direct trade between the two countries.
TodayPress TV reports, citing News.am, that Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has announced the start of a process aimed at establishing trade ties between the two countries.
According to the minister, goods are currently transported mainly through Georgia.
He noted that the sides could move to the next stage – opening the Armenia-Turkey border and establishing diplomatic relations – at any time.
