More than 20 attacks in one night: Kyiv plunged into dark

Russia has carried out one of its largest attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in recent times.

TodayPress TV reports that the information was released by Ukraine’s energy operator, “Ukrenergo”.

According to the statement, Russian forces struck the country’s energy facilities more than 20 times over the past 24 hours. Multiple types of weapons were used in the attacks.

As a result, the situation in Ukraine’s energy system has deteriorated significantly. Emergency power cuts have been introduced in several regions, including Kyiv.

“Ukrenergo” said electricity supplies would be restored first to critical infrastructure facilities.
