Trump’s surprise move: US to end military aid to Israel
The United States will end its annual $4 billion in military aid to Israel.
TodayPress TV reports that US President Donald Trump made the announcement in an interview with Fox News.
According to Trump, he has reached an agreement on the matter with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“We agreed on this a few months ago, and they (the Israelis) are fine with it. Because Israel is a successful country. They don’t need aid, and we will no longer be helping them,” Trump said.
He added that the United States would assist Israel if the need arose.
