Georgia deports 61 foreign nationals – Azerbaijanis among them

Georgia has deported 61 foreign nationals.

TodayPress TV reports that the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs provided the information.

According to the ministry, those deported were citizens of India, Egypt, Türkiye, Cuba, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Nigeria, Armenia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Burundi, Ethiopia and Pakistan.

The deported individuals have been banned from entering Georgia in accordance with the country’s existing legislation.

The ministry said that since the beginning of this year, Migration Department officers have already deported nearly 3,000 foreign nationals from Georgia. This figure is significantly higher than the total recorded for the previous year.
