Budanov will lead trilateral talks with the US and Russia.

Ukrainian Presidential Office Chief Kyrylo Budanov will lead Ukraine’s delegation at trilateral talks with the United States and Russia in Abu Dhabi.

TodayPress TV reports that Budanov made the statement in an interview with “CBS News”.

He said he would lead the Ukrainian delegation at the peace talks scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi next week. Budanov also held this role during the initial discussions in february.

The publication notes that Budanov does not expect significant progress. Nevertheless, the fact that the Russian and Ukrainian delegations have agreed to meet face-to-face in the same room is itself a sign of some progress.

“I repeat once again that these talks are not the last ones and are not final. Everything we discuss will be related to preparations for ending the ongoing war. What will we achieve? I will refrain from answering that question”,- Budanov clarified.
