BREAKING: Is a US-Iran war about to resume? – Possible date revealed
US President Donald Trump has discussed the possibility of resuming military operations against Iran with his national security team.
TodayPress TV reports, citing Fox News, which quoted senior US administration officials, that the issue was discussed at the White House.
According to the report, the possibility of resuming military operations against Iran was raised at meetings held on Wednesday and Thursday. Officials noted that a new Moon phase would occur in the Middle East on November 9, meaning there would be almost no moonlight at night. They believe these conditions could be favourable for military operations.
Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Thursday, Trump said Washington would decide whether to resume strikes. He stressed that the United States wanted to completely dismantle Iran’s nuclear programme and prevent it from being restored in the future.
The US president said he did not want to destroy the rest of the country, but did not rule out being forced to do so if necessary.
Meanwhile, US Central Command (CENTCOM) is finalising preparations for a possible resumption of large-scale military operations in Iran. However, according to a US official, the command has not yet received any new instructions from Washington.
