Yemen’s Houthi rebels, part of the Ansar Allah movement, have reported that more than 30 people were killed or injured in a Saudi airstrike on a market in Taiz province in the country’s southwest.

TodayPress TV reports that the information was provided by Anis al-Asbahi, a spokesperson for the Health Ministry in the rebels’ administration.

According to the statement, a Saudi F-15 fighter jet took off from the Khamis Mushait airbase and carried out three strikes on Al-Hadara market in the Al-Wazi’iyah district of Taiz province. Dozens of civilians were reportedly killed or injured.

Al-Asbahi specified that more than 30 people were affected by the attack.

Meanwhile, Saudi broadcaster Al Arabiya, citing sources, reported that the market had been struck by the Houthis themselves using a ballistic missile.
