Germany to see a real war – Russia is only missing a Zhukov

Russia has ordered Germany’s Consulate General in St. Petersburg to cease operations by September 18 and all of its employees to leave the country by that date.

TodayPress TV reports that the decision has closed another channel of diplomatic relations between Berlin and Moscow. The reduction in the number of diplomatic missions increases the risk of further incidents being misinterpreted and makes them more difficult to prevent.

The situation has become even more tense as Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Germany was moving toward a “real war”.

The escalation of harsh rhetoric and the narrowing of diplomatic channels of communication are fuelling concerns that relations between Berlin and Moscow could spiral out of control.
