Russian diesel fuel will initially be shipped to the United States primarily from ports on the Baltic Sea.
TodayPress TV reports that Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak made the announcement.
According to Novak, supplies under the “diesel deal” will not affect Russia’s domestic market. He noted that only surplus diesel fuel will be exported to the United States.
