Ukraine declares four-day ceasefire – Will Russia agree?
Ukraine has declared a ceasefire from September 5 to 8.
TodayPress TV reports that, according to the information available, units of the Ukrainian army have already been ordered to observe the ceasefire.
The ceasefire will begin at 00:00 on September 5 and continue until 23:59 on September 8.
The decision is reportedly linked to the visits of US President Donald Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow and Kyiv.
However, Russia has not yet agreed to the initiative. It will become clear in the coming days whether Moscow will join the ceasefire.
