Trump’s envoys arrive in Russia: New peace proposal on the table
A plane carrying US President Donald Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner has entered Russian airspace.
TodayPress TV reports that, according to Flightradar24, a US Air Force Boeing C-32A took off from Helsinki and is flying towards St. Petersburg.
Witkoff and Kushner are reportedly bringing a new proposal aimed at ending the war in Ukraine. Following their visit to Moscow, the US representatives are expected to travel to Kyiv.
However, according to Bloomberg, expectations in Moscow regarding the visit are extremely low. Sources close to the Kremlin do not expect significant results this time either, citing the lack of progress during previous visits.
The key question now is whether Washington’s new proposal can bring Moscow and Kyiv closer to the negotiating table.
