Retirement age could be raised to 70 in this country
Finland could raise the retirement age to 70.
TodayPress TV reports that Finland’s Ministry of Finance has proposed gradually increasing the minimum retirement age to 70.
According to Yle, increasing the retirement age by six months for each successive generation could increase the number of people in employment in the country by 50,000–120,000.
The proposal aims to increase the size of the workforce and reduce the financial burden on the pension system.
