Erdogan discusses latest situation in the Black Sea with Putin
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
TodayPress TV reports, citing local media, that Erdogan congratulated Putin on his birthday during the phone call.
The two sides also discussed Türkiye-Russia relations and regional issues.
Erdoğan emphasized the importance of efforts to ensure navigation safety in the Black Sea and said Türkiye was ready to contribute to initiating contacts between Russia and Ukraine.
