Tired of defeating the Germans every hundred years: Russia hints at a world war

Russian state television host Vladimir Solovyov has issued a stark threat against German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

TodayPress TV reports that, commenting on Merz’s demands toward Russia, Solovyov recalled Germany’s historical experience of Russian military advances toward Berlin.

“Merz, who are you to demand anything from anyone? Do Germans enjoy watching Russians march into Berlin every century? This time, we will not march because radioactive dust is bad for our boots,” he said.

Solovyov then threatened Germany, saying that the country would “suffer the fate of Carthage” (Ed. – referring to the ancient city that was completely destroyed by Rome in 146 BC) and would “turn into a radioactive desert.”

Solovyov’s linking of these historical parallels to a nuclear threat against Germany has drawn particular attention.
