Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has commented on Azerbaijani serviceman Nasimi Musayev, who was detained in the village of Sheki in Zangezur.

TodayPress TV reports, citing Armenian media, that Pashinyan said the Azerbaijani serviceman did not resist when he was detained.

“The Azerbaijani serviceman, who was carrying a firearm, did not resist at all when he was detained. As far as I understand, he also had certain injuries,” Pashinyan said.

It should be noted that several days ago, Azerbaijani Armed Forces serviceman Nasimi Musayev was detained in the village of Sheki in the Zangezur region.

According to information released by the Armenian side, the Azerbaijani serviceman was carrying a firearm. The circumstances under which he entered Armenian territory and the reasons that led to his detention in the village are currently being investigated.

Armenian law enforcement authorities have launched a criminal case in connection with Nasimi Musayev’s detention.
