Rubio says children are being prepared for death in Iran
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has claimed that Iran’s religious leaders portray children as “heroes sent to their deaths.”
TodayPress TV reports that Rubio made the remarks while criticizing Iran’s approach to the concept of “martyrdom.”
According to him, the concept of heroism in the United States is associated not with death, but with preserving life.
“The heroes of our country do not worship death. It is about how we value life,” Rubio said.
