Lukashenko turns to the West: “We don’t have even a single ton of goods to sell”

Belarus does not have any available volumes of potash fertilizer for supply to Western markets. All of the country’s production has already been sold under contract.

TodayPress TV reports that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said this during a meeting with Vladimir Orlovsky, chairman of the State Customs Committee. The information was released by the Belarusian leader’s press service.

According to Lukashenko, Belarus has managed to redirect commodity flows eastward. He cited the ongoing negotiations with the United States as confirmation of this.

“Even if we wanted to supply potash to other destinations, to Western markets, we simply do not have the volumes for that — all of it has already been sold under contract,” Lukashenko said.
