Spectacular start to the NBA season: Only two teams remain unbeaten!

The number of teams yet to suffer a defeat at the start of the 2026/2027 NBA season has dropped to two.

According to TodayPress TV, the Memphis Grizzlies and Houston Rockets are the only teams still unbeaten in the regular season. Both have won all five of their opening games.

In the latest round, Memphis continued its winning run with a 124-103 away victory over the Portland Trail Blazers. Interestingly, Portland had also remained unbeaten ahead of the matchup.

One of the standout performers was 19-year-old Grizzlies rookie Cameron Boozer, who recorded the first triple-double of his career. The young basketball player finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists.

Houston secured its fifth consecutive victory by crushing the Milwaukee Bucks 132-100 away from home.

Fred VanVleet was the Rockets’ leading scorer with 24 points, while Amen Thompson contributed 23 points to his team's victory.

It should be noted that Houston have started an NBA regular season with five consecutive wins for the first time since the 2014/2015 campaign.
