Peace proposals prepared for Putin left on the table

A closed-door meeting between US representatives and a Ukrainian delegation, planned to take place in Finland, was canceled at the last minute.

According to TodayPress TV, Finland’s Ilta-Sanomat newspaper reported the development.

According to the report, the meeting between US President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner and the Ukrainian delegation was scheduled to take place this summer.

The parties were expected to discuss peace initiatives aimed at ending the war in Ukraine and subsequently present the proposals to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

However, the meeting was canceled at the last minute amid rising tensions between the United States and Iran.
