“Saudi Aramco” targeted by Houthis again
Yemen’s Houthi rebels, part of the Ansar Allah movement, have carried out strikes on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and facilities belonging to Saudi Arabia’s national oil company, Saudi Aramco.
TodayPress TV reports that the claim was made by the movement’s military spokesperson, Yahya Saree.
“The Saudi Arabian armed forces (the Houthis’ term for their own armed formations – ed.) have conducted six military operations using numerous ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles”,- the statement said.
According to the rebel spokesperson, the first targets were King Khalid International Airport, as well as oil storage tanks and equipment belonging to Saudi Aramco in Riyadh. During the second and third operations, the Houthis attacked the company’s facilities in the Khurais oil field area and a pumping station in the city of Dawadmi, in central Saudi Arabia.
