Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva attended an event at the “Tut Əlimdən” (“Hold My Hand”) Centre.

A festive celebration marking the anniversary of the historic Victory was held at the “Tut Əlimdən” Children’s Rehabilitation Centre.

TodayPress TV reports that the event was attended by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation; Arzu Aliyeva, head of the Baku Media Centre; Lu Mei, China’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan; Bahar Muradova, Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs; and other guests.

One of the most memorable moments of the celebration was the colourful programme prepared by the children. Their performances, creative handicrafts and heartfelt presentations were warmly received by the guests.

The presentation of equipment donated to the centre by China was another important part of the ceremony. The new equipment will help expand the centre’s technical capabilities and further improve the facilities provided for the children’s daily care.

Creating an environment where every child is heard, understood, loved and feels safe is one of the key priorities of the state’s child policy and efforts to build a healthy society.
