Two tankers hit mines in the Strait of Hormuz: Ships catch fire
Two oil tankers attempting to pass through unauthorised routes in the Strait of Hormuz with US military support have struck mines.
TodayPress TV reports, citing Clash Report, that according to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy, both tankers caught fire following the explosions.
The vessels’ navigation and identification systems were also reportedly disabled.
