“Barcelona” find their new goalkeeper: Livaković joins Catalan giants!
Croatia national team goalkeeper Dominik Livaković has moved from Turkish club “Fenerbahçe” to Spain’s “Barcelona”, TodayPress TV reports.
The Catalan club’s official website reported that the parties have reached an agreement on the player’s transfer. Livaković will sign a four-year contract with “Barcelona”, valid until June 30, 2030.
Livaković began his career in the academies of “Zadar” and “Zagreb” and made his senior-team debut for “Zagreb” in the 2012/13 season. After spending four seasons there, he joined Croatian club “Dinamo” Zagreb in the 2016/17 season.
The goalkeeper made 295 appearances for “Dinamo” over seven seasons, conceding 249 goals and keeping 137 clean sheets. With “Dinamo” Zagreb, Livaković won the Croatian championship seven times.
His successful performances led to his move to “Fenerbahçe” in the summer of 2023. During two seasons with the Istanbul club, the goalkeeper made 74 appearances and kept 24 clean sheets.
In the summer of 2025, Livaković joined “Girona” on loan but did not make a single appearance. He later returned to “Dinamo” Zagreb on loan during the winter transfer window. During this period, he conceded 10 goals in 15 matches and kept eight clean sheets. Livaković’s performances helped “Dinamo” win the championship.
