Croatia ready to support Azerbaijan in mine clearance

Croatia has completed its mine-clearance operations, and Zagreb is ready to support Azerbaijan in this field.

TodayPress TV reports that Croatian State Secretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Frano Matušić stated this during a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

The sides highlighted the exchange of expertise and the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan’s National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) and specialised Croatian companies.

Matušić noted that Croatia had completed its mine-clearance operations in March this year and assured Azerbaijan that his country was ready to provide all possible support in this area.
