Armenia could pay a high price for this move
Armenia’s suspension of its membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) could reduce the volume of money transfers from Russia to the country from $3.88 billion to $1.8 billion.
TodayPress TV reports that this is stated in a joint report by Russia, Belarus, Armenia and Kazakhstan.
According to the document, such a scenario could also lead to an increase in the price of gas imported by Armenia.
The price of 1,000 cubic metres of gas could rise from $177.50 to $300.
