Türkiye in no hurry to withdraw troops from Syria and Iraq
Turkish Defence Minister Yaşar Güler has said that Türkiye will maintain its military presence in Syria and Iraq until its border security is fully ensured.
TodayPress TV reports, citing The Times of Israel, which quoted Agence France-Presse (AFP).
According to the minister, the status of Türkiye’s military bases and its military presence in the region will be reassessed once the necessary conditions for border and regional security have been met.
