Critical meeting in Baku – What was discussed?
Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov received David Allen, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States in Armenia, who is visiting Azerbaijan.

The meeting addressed steps toward the normalisation of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, advancing the peace process, ensuring long-term and sustainable peace, as well as strengthening stability and security in the region.
The sides also exchanged views on the outcomes of Elnur Mammadov’s visit to the United States on the occasion of the anniversary of the Washington Peace Summit, the signed trilateral statement, efforts to implement the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP), and the establishment of the TRIPP Development Company, which will lead the construction of infrastructure related to the route.
In addition, the parties reviewed the bilateral Azerbaijan-US agenda and prospects for future cooperation in the areas outlined in the Strategic Partnership Charter.
It should be noted that Amy Carlon, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States in Azerbaijan, also attended the meeting.
