Trump makes remarks seen as exonerating Russia
US President Donald Trump has responded to a question about attacks on energy infrastructure amid the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
A journalist asked Trump about Russia’s alleged violation of the announced energy ceasefire by striking six Ukrainian energy facilities, TodayPress TV reports.
Trump said he would comment on the matter later, noting that both sides were attacking each other.
When the journalist reiterated that Russia had struck six energy facilities, the US president responded that Ukraine had also taken similar action previously.
