Netanyahu refuses to back down: Israeli forces will remain in the area
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will maintain their presence in the West Bank.
Netanyahu said that no Arab army would be deployed west of the Jordan River and that Israeli forces would remain in the area, TodayPress TV reports.
He also stressed that Israel was preparing for a scenario in which the Palestinian National Authority’s security forces could turn their weapons against Israel in the West Bank.
